Fogo de Chão to open new restaurant in downtown Seattle

Brazilian restaurant chain Fogo de Chão has signed a lease agreement to open a new restaurant in Washington’s downtown Seattle, US, early next year. The restaurant will include a 5,000ft² rooftop Next Level Lounge, with indoor and outdoor space at 400 University, adjacent to Rainier Square.

PCC Community Markets to Open Rainier Square Location on January 19, 2022

SEATTLE January 5, 2022 – Today Wright Runstad & Company (“Wright Runstad”) announced that PCC Community Markets, one of Seattle’s original grocers and the largest community-owned food market in the U.S., will open a new downtown store in Rainier Square on January 19, 2022. The store will be located at 1320 4th Avenue, with ample validated parking available in the Rainier Square garage. The entrance to the garage is located on Union Street between 4th and 5th Avenues.

NAIOP’s Night of the Stars honors Daniels, Abbott, Rainier Square and more

NAIOP's annual Night of the Stars gala was held in person last Friday at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The DJC will run a full roster of the winners next week, along with a comprehensive online photo gallery. Owing to the pandemic, which made last year's gathering a virtual affair, the shifted timeframe for nominees was for projects completed between July 1, 2020 and Aug. 1, 2021.
